SmartrMail now supports Shopify marketing activities

SmartrMail Now Supports Shopify Marketing Activities

We’re proud to announce that SmartrMail is one of the first apps to launch a new Shopify Marketing Activity.

Shopify Marketing Activities are workflows built into a single dashboard within your Shopify admin  that lets you create, launch and manage multiple campaigns across different apps and marketing channels. This streamlines the process and gives you an overview of your store’s marketing activities in one place without having to log in and out of various apps.

Now you’ll be able to create an email campaign with SmartrMail, reach customers through Google Shopping and target people on Facebook all in the one place. You’ll also be present with stats including your total sales and ad spend so you can easily get a quick idea of how your marketing efforts are performing across all channels.

You can find this dashboard within the Marketing tab on the left of your admin account homepage.

At the moment, you are able to create and manage your Auto Product Recommendation emails from the Marketing in Shopify dashboard. You will however need to first set up your design template within the SmartrMail app.

We plan on adding support for more email types such as abandoned cart and welcome emails so set these up and manage them within the Shopify marketing dashboard too. This will become available over the coming months.

In the meantime, you will also be able to see an overview of new email campaigns you’ve created within SmartrMail alongside other apps which also support Marketing in Shopify.

We’re glad to have worked with Shopify to be among the first apps to launch a  Shopify Marketing Activity. Having done so, our users on the platform can now benefit from a unified marketing experience.

The number of apps that integrate with Shopify Marketing will only continue to grow. As it does, you’ll continue to find more data and be able to launch more campaigns within the one dashboard.

Having all this information presented to you in a clear and concise manner will enable you to respond to changes in performance across channels more quickly. This reduces the risk of overspending on poorly performing campaigns and ensures you’re spending budget and time on the channels that generate the most revenue.

Until then, we’d love to know what you think of the workflow. Does the new streamlined process work for you, or do you still prefer making changes to your campaigns within the SmartrMail app?
